... pears.

Thanks for the hearts and stars yesterday! I am encouraged to keep trying with this mono lark.

Working at my desk all day, I didn't have many photo opportunities. I don't normally buy fruit in the supermarket, but they had big bags of pears at 2.50 euros for 2 kilos the other day, so I couldn't resist it. They turned out to be a bit soft though, so this evening I made a pear and ginger tarte Tatin to use some of them up. They were so soft and juicy that lots of juice ran out, causing the dreaded soggy bottom, even though I cooked it upside down. Hence no photo of the tart. It tasted good though!
