Anatole's blips

Last Night of the PROGS.

The third prog. gig this week... my prog. cockles are well and truly ticked pink.

This time is was the turn of the other mega prog. band of the 70s/80s. Steve Hackett revisiting the faves from his days with Genesis.

A superb performance of tracks that we all know and love and that simply could not have been played with such skill or technical brilliance in the 70s. To be fair they couldn't come close to the stage presence of Gabriel and Collins, but the music was second to none. An acoustic version of ripples was accompanied by a rippling light show all over the hall as pictured.

To coin a phrase - they simply don't make them that way any more.

P.s. There was a remarkable number of bald heads bobbing in the audience.
