Ti Kouka and the Milky Way

With a late moonrise, today's blip just had to feature the stars that are spread across the firmament in tonight's clear sky.

Conscious of getting in before the midnight cut-off (and 12.50am moonrise) I couldn't wait for the Milky Way to rise higher above this cabbage tree in the garden. Even so, I'm pretty happy with the result....

Oh yeah did I mention IT'S A LONG WEEKEND?? Yay!!
