GRIMM CITY
AN ARCHITECTURAL FAIRYTALE

"Once upon a time, when the sun was shining and the smell of freshly
chopped timber was heavy in the air, two teachers and their seven
apprentices fell under a shadowy spell that controlled their every move.
For the following 33 days, 3 hours, 3 minutes and many more seconds
these nine craftsmen had little control over their actions, actions which
had unexpected consequences for all.
Like wildfire, word spread that this bewitched group discovered a long
lost blueprint of a city. This blueprint, conceived in ink exactly 200
years ago was shaped by 86 magnificent tales collected by two of the
most distinguished storytellers of their time, the Brothers Grimm.
On the edge of the mysterious Black Forest, the nine craftsmen began
deciphering and recreating this city blueprint. As time passed they
awoke from the spell and could not believe their eyes, eyes which
now gazed upon a fantastical landscape of thorny structures, lifeless
hanging souls and bowler hats,. They swiftly realised this was no mere
city they had built but a city so hostile, so grim that only one's imagination
could bear to inhabit it.
From this point onwards this city will be known only as Grimm City..."
