The Speed of Light

By MartyMcG

Wet Wet Wet

Today was wet - real wet. So I took myself off into the depths of the Finnich Glen. Last time I was here was during the summer and I managed to sclae, scramble, clamber and climb my way up the half kilometre of pools and waterfalls.

It was a bit colder and more intimidating today so I only made it down the rock platform at the bottom of the aptly named, vertigo inducing "Jacob's Ladder". I managed to balance my tripod on a fallen, and half submerged tree trunk and took a couple of shots of the unusual rock formation halfway up the gorge, known as "The Devil's Pulpit".

I've Blipped here before but it is a spot worth revisiting
