Color on the Sawmill--Leaf Blip VI

Taken on the Sawmill River Parkway in Westchester, north of New York City and heading for the Tappan Zee Bridge crossing the Hudson. It was late morning and we were going to a memorial service for our friend Marty's mother, who died last week at age 95. It was a very lovely service, and we renewed contact with friends we had not seen for some time.

A somewhat different sort of leaf blip than the preceding ones, but it does celebrate the splendor of fall in the northeast--the color is not as far advanced as in our paart of Massachusetts. After the service we went on to NYC, where we'll spend a couple of days.
