Mount Shuksun

Arvin, Helena, Steve and I headed up to the mountain today. We drove from overcast, through gorgeous sun, back into a bit of misty rain. Even though the fall colors were past their prime, it was just beautiful. We met a Chinese family from Vancouver and had fun playing with the Gray Jays that were nearby. With a bit of donated bread from another couple and the family, each of us took turns as the jays jumped on our hands and ate the bread. You can see the little girls in the family on Chaikins of Bellingham along with many other photos I took. The one here was my favorite of the day. It is an HDR series of seven hand held photos processed with the Nik HDR Pro 2 plug in. It is definitely best to look at this one large. On the way home we stopped at the Beer Shrine for an early dinner and beer.
