Another Walk in the Park

The trees in my part of Oxford seem to have survived the Big Storm unscathed, although other than hearing the rain I wasn't aware of any dramatic weather here over-night. The roads did seems to be very quiet this morning - although I suspect that had more to do with the start of half-term rather than any aftermath of the storm.

I've often wondered how this tree, in Bury Knowle Park, copes with the extremes of weather it sees. I've photographed it in all sorts of weather, at all times of year, and I'm sure I've blipped it before. But not recently.
