Autumn Evenings

The light this evening was stunning as the dogs and I walked round the fields. It has been a funny old day after the storms overnight. I have been in a real 'go slow' mode as the last few restless and sleepless nights have finally caught up! Not helpful when I am trying to redecorate and get school work done! Thankfully, we escaped lightly here during the storm with only a fallen tree at the bottom of the drive far away from our houses. It did mean a very early phone call to Dad as needed to get to school to let the contractors in at 8am! Well back to redecorating - aim to get the bedroom floor painted with first coat!
