Subliminal processing

This bus-stop billboard caught my peripheral attention at a traffic light this morning. I had to laugh, when I read the slogan "monstermässigen Spaß zu jeder zeit erleben" - because my weary rainy Monday morning brain failed to note the missing "y" and expected an ad for Skyy. As in the Vodka brand.

Wow, only in Germany could a liquor company promote "monstrous fun whenever you want it," I mused. But then the part about films and the cartoon mouse sort of brought me to my senses - its an ad for some sort of cable or satellite service :)

What's it mean that I was thinking of vodka-influenced fun at 8am on a weekday? Hm....
