Batten Down The Hatches

Winter is fast aproaching and the wild , windy, wet weather has definitely arrived. I hope everyone down South has survived the worst of the weather down there.

Now is the time of year to "batten down the hatches" and settle in for the winter. I love the dark , windy nights when I can close the curtains baninsiing the wildness to the darkness and relax with a good book or get on with my knitting. I started this Aran jersey for John to wear with his kilt. I reckon he made a good choice of wool and pattern, not so sure his choice of Knitter (aka Me ) will produce the gament he tginks he is getting.
