The Morning After

Less than 24 hours after the storm I saw many damaged reminders of yesterdays weather and the effort to get everything back on track (little wordplay as our train system already stops driving or at least with huge delays when there is just one autumn leaf on the rails, honestly, so you can imagine they have become the target of many word jokes ;-)

Yesterday was of course one of those days that they felt they should shut down the normal schedule for two days (note: the storm only took like two hours)

Anyway, I saw a lot of broken trees and branches, demolished cars, a sailing boat that was blown off it's dock cradle and this 500 that still had all the sand on one side as if it was sandblasted… or better…. it was sandblasted!
