To Admire Broad Beans

These are the autumn sown variety of broad beans called aquadulce claudia

I planted them in September because I was beginning to miss things growing in the veggie patch. With the mild autumn they have come on very well.

I thought that I would try to protect them with some fleece. However the wind soon put and end to that. I had to move on to plan "B" to give them some protection and here you see it.

As soon as I started to move soil around chirpie here arrived to lend a hand.
