Salford quays

A nice view from the hotel window over Salford quays. Just time to drop my bags, and grab a taxi for a flying visit to the Trafford Centre shopping mall before closing, to remedy my miscalculation as to the number of pairs of socks I should pack.

In the taxi on the way back we passed 'Mediacity' the new BBC and ITV facilities, the highlight of which was a fleeting glimpse of the back of the new ITV 'Coronation Street' set.

What an exotic life I lead.
