Tribute to Christer Fuglesang the astronaut

The spacecraft Discovery is in orbit right now around the globe. The Swedish astronaut Christer Fuglesang is on his second mission onboard. The spaceship is visible on the southern sky between 3 and 6 am.
Christer is with last nights spacewalk the european with most Extravehicular Activity as this is his second spacetrip. They had to wait three days for a liftoff, and he had to wait seven long years for his first mission. I have had the privilege to meet with him twice.

The local preschool kids sit in this little observatory and look into space with their binoculars fully able to spot the spacecraft .
