Prayer to the God of Paper

If everything made of paper
were stripped from our house
we might be declared
a clutter-free zone.

God grant me scanners
and cameras and time
to digitise paper, creating
a clutter-free home.

(This is the best bit of an abandoned watercolour painting I did a few years ago. Now I have lots of children's drawings to scan and chuck as well.)
