Quasi Granddaughter :)

Thirteen years ago Alice stayed with us for part of her exchange year in the US - so I consider her one of my many wonderful exchange daughters. We've seen each other a number of times over the years. She is from the Munich area and often when we were visiting family in Germany she would try to catch up with us, driving up to Hamburg to meet us. And of course she'd been back to see us several times in the States after her exchange year. This week she and her French-Swiss husband are visiting us with their beautiful 6-month old daughter, Mila. It's like having an exchange granddaughter :)

I love having a baby in the house again - so sweet! And my youngest son has thoroughly enjoyed being the big sibling, entertaining the baby with goofy antics.
