Cutting the turf

Big day for us today. Hence the 'family album' style frame for my Blip.

Today we 'broke ground' on what hopefully shall become our new house. The structural engineers came and dug 'trial pits' to establish what kind of foundations & drainage we'll need. It's taken over a year so far just to get planning permission so this was quite a milestone for us.

As you can see from the picture there is a small jungle to be cleared from the site before the build proper can start next year.
