I had thought today was a bit of a non event until I spoke with my niece and told her of my day.

I was quickly reminded that a day spent with old ladies feeding me cake, making chutney from only home grown produce and sitting down watching a dvd in the afternoon was infact a little bit of heaven and what in hell's name was I complaining about?

Sometimes we need to be reminded.

I had tried to create calendars today, thinking I would do themes, flowers and cake, family portraits and events, beautiful landscapes. These are the images I think I take most of, but would you believe I didn't have enough of any category to make one single calendar. I need to make a plan now in preparation for next year.
