Pumpkin picking

Today we did something that I've wanted to do for years pumpkin picking!

We went to national forest adventure farm in Burton, through a friends recommendation and I'm so glad we went. It was such a lovely day out. There has been a weather warning that we are getting some 80 mile winds so we picked a great day!! But thank god it wasn't to bad.

We arrived and had to wake both babies up as they had fell asleep on the drive down. Erin spotted the park instantly!

1st stop was picking our pumpkins. The field was empty of people but full of pumpkins some bigger that's caleb (possible slight exaggeration)
Caleb was in his elements a field of bright orange balls, he kept picking the smalls ones up and throwing them :) they picked there two and we put them back in the car.
We headed off to the park for a quick play and a go on the giant inflatable pillow, which caleb also turned into a slide!
Next stop the petting farm and our door farm. We saw rabbits, guinea pigs and the worlds largest pigs! (Another exaggeration but they were big!) back out doors we fed some hens, goats, sheep and saw reindeers!!! I got way to over excited about that.
We didn't go into the maize maze as the wind was picking up so we headed in side for some soft play fun. The kids loved it and especially the big slides.

We had good and then headed off home. Love family days xx

ion Caleb has tooth number 13, bottom right fang. these bad boys have been trying to come through since our holiday and wow have we known about it!! 1 down 3 to go.
