Polarised Water Droplets

Weather lousy and currently raining cats and dogs. Time for some winter experimental photography. Try water droplets on a glass plate. The droplets look a bit flattened on the glass, It would be bettter if I had some glycerine.

Failing that lets give them some oomph by creating a polarised background using the back of a CD lit by an LED strip light. Yes, this works and as you can move the glass around independently of the CD you can choose exactly where you want to place your droplets. This has possibilities for further experiments.

Blip heaven !
