Petals

I thought all the Dahlias were finished, but then I found some still blooming. This one had been broken by the wind and so I held it in one hand and took the picture using the other hand.

There are a great many thing I should have been doing today, but instead I have been researching some more of my family tree.

The weather is windy, but not as windy as yesterday evening and night; we have also had some lovely sunshine.
