Christmas cake

So it's that time of year again. I got up at 07.00 this morning to bake my Christmas cake. Victoria helped to grate the lemons and oranges, and chop the glacé cherries,Mr Hillview helped to beat the butter and sugar as I don't have a mixer and my arm ached and there you have it one Christmas cake. For those of you who know I have a son, he was busy doing AS revision/work whilst the cake making was going on. I just need to marzipan and ice it but that will be much later.

I am earlier this year with my cake, last year I blipped it on the 23rd November, mind you it looks nearly the same to me.
