Dried Chilli

I felt a bit like this today. A bit dried up and withered.

Breakfast, however, cheered me up. The Lorne Sausage from yesterday was actually a big success. And we've agreed that even if I could find a dumpling/fruit slice, it has no place in a cooked breakfast.

Off to a conference tomorrow and I'll be away until Wednesday. Looking forward to it and also a bit trepidatious. They've planned a "Männerabend" for Tuesday evening. I could very well have a headache for that. Or perhaps just hiding in my room.

A Männerabend is a "Gentlemen's evening" and that has warning bells ringing. I'm certainly not being forced to go and if it is as schockingly bad as I think it could be, I won't be staying.
