Up, up, up

I sat on the steps of St Martin-in-the-Fields at lunchtime and watched the London crowds pass by. I couldn't quite see the plinth on Trafalgar Square as there's some building work taking place, but I could see the hustle and bustle of the tourists and lunchtime workers. Above me was the ornate ceiling of the portico. The church was built in the 18th century, but there's been one in this spot since the 13th century.

It's been a good day for a Monday. Things clicking into place, notably the hotel I really wanted to stay at in Venice has a room free. Yay!

Backblipped to 1988 ? this is for mum because dad ate most of a Victoria sponge yesterday, leaving mum a segment. It must have been tasty.
