Hope

I took advantage of some sunny spells and had a little wander down the other end of town this afternoon after a short visit here during the week. This Church is Christ Church of Ellesmere Port. The statue on the left is not part of the church, but is situated around the corner (on the roundabout off the M53 as you enter the town).

The Pioneer statue was erected a few years ago and throughout Ellesmere Port several other plinths, monuments & monoliths were put up, all sharing the same style.
