Hard frost

A serious frost last night; a scrape-it-off-the-car-windscreen type frost. Once the sun had sent off the frosty mist, the morning was brilliantly crisp, clear and the frost hung on as long as it could.

There were some lovely patterns around; little ice fragments accentuating the edges of the leaves and what remains of the flowers. I thought this one best.
