Like father like son

Unfortunately last night was more of the same, again. The wee man keeps waking up and grumbling during the night and whenever we go in to sooth him, he seems content to battle us.

We're really not sure what's making him act like this - teething, cold, cognitive change - but hopefully it'll pass soon. Apparently it's quite common for 10-12 month old babies to have restless nights due to the barrage of experiences they're absorbing. Bless him.

Despite is restless nights, he really is coming on leaps and bounds through the day. We're seeing so many little changes in him these days. His balance is improving every day (he might start cruising soon - or is it coasting?) and he's even managing to use his fingers to push food back into his mouth if he misses it the first time round.

I just hope he settles himself down during the next few nights/weeks so we can all be on top form to see him through the days. It's especially hard on Nikki given how long she spends with him.
