The 5 Spot

Walked up a different urban hill than our usual today….lots of cement steps....rewarded with a coffee and a breakfast bite at the top in a beloved restaurant, the 5 Spot, nicely uncrowded and friendly mid morning. Totally Americana...

Also managed a quick visit to the Nordic Heritage Museum to see “Dressing Swedish” with fashions from folk costumes to Salander. It included a wool outfit that looked like a birch tree!

And tonight another lecture by our entertaining local weather guru. (who predicted last saturday’s storm exactly right!)
