Cairo street Stand and Domino Players

Five mins from our flat and opposite 'Metro', the 24hr supermarket, where we normally shop. It was a quick in and out tonight as our coffee supply was dangerously low!

Gave back the language assignment (assignment 2) this afternoon and there were quite a few tired, unhappy faces as there were quite a few re-submissions. That isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's culturally taken badly in this part of the world. Tomorrow's going to be a busy one, with lesson planning for week 4, questions on the latest resubmissions, and last minute questions and panic as the third assignment is due on Sunday. And it's the deadline for resubmissions for assignment 1 tomorrow too. All this on top of 6 teachers teaching tomorrow afternoon as normal! To end on a good note though, I saw two very good lessons yesterday afternoon from teachers who'd been struggling a little bit and it all started to come together for them. Another very good lesson this afternoon for another trainee. It's really satisfying to see the progress!
