Stained Glass, Roffey Church

I have always liked stained glass windows and Roffey Church contains a full set. They are of varying dates from 1878 to 1936, the date of this small section which is by M.C. Farrar Bell. As far as I know, the picture depicts St Etheldreda with a plan of Ely Cathedral. I haven't worked out yet the connection between Roffey and Ely, but it is a colourful image. It's crisp and clear with lots of different variations of foliage around the edges. As every window has stained glass in it, the interior is always very dark, whatever the weather or the time of year.
