Number crunching...

Sad I suppose that accountancy seems to be one of the skills that a modern clergy person needs to have. Lots of my colleagues choose not to do this, I believe, but in our (financially precarious) position as churches in this part of the world, it seems too important NOT to concentrate on accounts. Also I truly believe this can be used as a sign of mission and growth: a happy, focused, faithful church is one where money appears...
