getting out

Mostly at home in the morning and over lunch, and escaped in the afternoon to buy a few veggies, get some fresh air & have a coffee with a scone.

This is the regular coffee haunt. Not an independent family business, but not a tax dodging multinational either. It's a Fife Council building, so they operate the coffee shop too.

You can decide for yourselves which end of the scale that falls on.

It has a slight "works canteen" feel inside, but the location right on the harbour makes up for any lack of style.

While I'm here, I recklessly bought a romanesco in the fruit & veg shop. Spur of the moment. So if you have a recipe idea, please pass it on.
