We poured nine cubic meters of concrete this afternoon. The driver drove the concrete truck down Mountain Road, on to Hawthorn Road and then down the Trans Canada Trail to the house and barn where we worked.

My neighbor who lives across the street drove the concrete truck. As he backed the truck toward the barn it sank into the ground about forty centimeters. He stopped there and we could wheel the concrete using our wheelbarrows. When the truck was lighter, he drove it onto solid ground and closer to the barn. Three hours latter we finished the work.
