Seattle at Dusk

Began the day going to the naturopath with apt. for myself and a friend. We each got her advice, supplements and all that good stuff. Onward to a nice veggie restaurant with some good soup, salad and corn bread---then off to a flick at a uniquely renovated theater. It has nice stadium seating and little slide out trays by each seat. A great selection of foods for all palettes seemed available too. From gourmet pizzas and burgers to vegan and veggie foods. A very ample supple of goodies and drinks---both alcoholic and non alcoholic. We'd eaten already so passed up all that this time. note to self---come back on empty stomach.

We saw Dickens Great Expectations. Well done but too dark for today...I should have known better given it was Dickens after all. All filmed on location in England---mostly in the rain and dreary weather---so just like home ha ha.

Back home now...Big R home from work and packing a bag to Amtrak down to Portland tomorrow early am to visit the kids/grandson. And to share a concert with our son Sunday pm. He'll train back early Monday. I'm left to my own vices along with those of the hooligans. Happy Weekend!!!
