The beginning and the end...

Popped over to check how freezing the church is feeling, ready for the morning. The heating is not behaving, in my opinion, after the big restoration project. So we will cope, with various other measures etc. But in the semi-light the paschal candle caught my eye, smooth and clean, grains firmly in after the Easter Vigil.
