Mr Shag

I think this is the big model of shags (it certainly is large) and for some reason it strikes me as a he.

I'm sure Mrs Shag finds him handsome ;-)

I went fishing this afternoon with the Bow Hunter (on bows involved, only legal lures and soft baits). No sea run trout were harmed either here at Macintoshes Rocks on the lower Waimakariri River, or later on the Kaiapoi river from the slip way beside the moored Tuhoe.

But we had a good time and that's what counts.

A good hill run for hpx this morning. Well it felt good afterwards anyway ;-) Not a lot done in the world of indoor domestics but I did get plants from the nursery this morning. Only thing is now I'll have to do some serious gardening.

All in all a pleasant day :-)
