Arches

Our fifth day of photographing the autumn colours in Perthshire, and lots of heavy rain to cope with. I've certainly been testing my wet weather clothing - and the waterproof cover for the camera (although the camera itself still got excessively wet during those periods when I mistakenly didn't think the cover was necessary). This photograph was taken while standing in an unprotected spot during a heavy downpour.

I liked the repeating arches formed by the bowed trees, unable to support their own weight, and the contrast between them and the other, still upright, trees.

A back blip because I didn't have a computer with me in Perthshire.
