Although it's an important town in Lithuania there's no getting away from the fact that most of Telsiai is built in a rather frontier style. The most common house (and there are quite a lot of them even on the main street) are wooden cabins. Painted bright colours, and often quite elaborate. Many even have corrugated roofs.
