100 Variations!

This is #1 of 100 variations i'll do on this composition! The size of these paintings will be either 5 1/2 " x 7 1/2" (like this one) or 8 " x 11".

My favorite pastel artist, Marla Baggetta Variations has this project which i've looked at many times, and I decided it was time to tackle it! So, i will be doing this same landscape, with a couple of differences 99 more times. I'll vary the temperature of the pastels i use, i'll try a variety of different papers, some with under painting and some without. I'll do as many different combinations that i can think of.....and maybe more if i get some advise from Marla!

It a cold rainy day out there and i'm in the mudroom.....doing the last of the throwing for this year! the next 2 weeks will be all glazing, decorating and firing the kilns.
