What's your shoe story?

A question posed on the ceiling of Selfridges' Shoe Galleries. Mine is a narrative that stretches from long ago hated "sensible" school shoes; through teetering-on-the-edge fashionable and stylish; to the relatively recent realisation that comfort is the most important thing of all.
