Hammersmith Bridge

I actually got out of the office at lunchtime today!

I'm not the only one to mention it here, but I was moved to the point of tears (a bit embarrassing on the tube) by the story of Harold Jellicoe Percival today. The ex RAF serviceman died peacefully in his sleep last month, aged 99 - he never married or had children and the funeral directors out an ad in a local newspaper appealing for people to attend his cremation. The appeal went viral and over 300 people turned up :-)
