Christmas Cactus

It has been a damp, dull, dreary day today. We went to Morrison’s and was pleased to see that they had a two minute silence at 11am. It was quite impressive to see staff and customers all standing still in contemplation.

It was there we bought this plant. We already have a Christmas Cactus but there are only two flowers on it, whether anymore will come out I don’t know. This one has loads of buds and flowers and we will take it up to South Cave on Sunday when we visit my mother.

This afternoon the book shop was very quiet; the weather just not being conducive for customers to be wandering the street and browsing in bookshops. I managed to get some listings done, but nothing very exciting.

Even the tennis final at the O2 was not that exciting; Nadal obviously being off-form against the skill of Djokovic. Still we had Masterchef to watch after to finish of the evening.
