Animal Charcoal

Yvonne Lyon and Alastair Cook, two Absent Voices artists, have been cooking up some new ideas for later in the Absent Voices project.

These two have form however, and worked together on two films for Alastair's Filmpoem project, now a successful intentional festival (and we hear Alastair is off to meet the Queen for services to Contemporary British Poetry next week, more on that later). The first film was called Animal Charcoal, and was written by actor and poet Gérard Rudolf, and Yvonne made the sound. A dark murderous drift into sugar's past...
