Big Deal...

This is a big deal. Miss Mia is petrified of dogs. Can't stand them. Freezes in terror upon seeing them... or even hearing them sometimes. She's improved slightly since Tux lived with us, but still has a major fear. She made sure I was holding her any time there was a chance "Niki" might get her. However, today, after our walk to the park, she gained some sense of confidence at the idea of holding on to the leash. So, she grabbed the leash, and for some reason, that made everything okay. She happily walked Nikki up and down the street, like she was born to do it! It was unbelievable! And I was so proud of her! Niki was happy too. She's a kind hearted pup and doesn't quite understand why Mia shrieks everytime Niki walks by!
