Leftover Halloween treats

These are the sweets that we bought for Halloween just in case. I don't think we had a single caller so we now have a big bowl left over.

Bookgroup this evening was a poetry special. We discussed a poetry collection by Carol Ann Duffy led by a published poet. It was a very interesting evening and it was interesting to hear everyone's experience of poetry at school and how these experiences had affected our reaction to some of the poems.
