Shostakovich 4

I liked the symphony so much I bought the T shirt. The postman delivered my new Football Philosophy T-shirt this morning. I shall be wearing it tomorrow. The front has the first few bars of Football March from Shostakovich's ballet The Golden Age.

Hopefully the game between Leyton Orient and Preston North End won't be as frustrating as that embarrassing England performance against Chile tonight. George Orwell said football is war without any shooting. Shostakovich said football is ballet for the masses. Take your pick. At least I'll be dressed for the part.
