~Desert Glory~

~Dinner Serenade~

Having dinner tonight around my campfire out in the Sonoran Desert. Just dinner then heading back home for an early start tomorrow morning. I love this place at this time of day, still light out but the sun has already set. The clouds are reflecting these beautiful colors back down onto the desert valley floor. It's a bit odd seeing everything around you orange and red, although briefly. This desert sunset color will soon be replaced by my campfire's orange and red glow, but on a much smaller scale. Coyotes howl and owls screech, and my pickup truck radio playing Free Falling by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, so appropriate because heart is breaking with happiness.
