Shuffleboard Tournament

Tonight we celebrated a dear friend's birthday by having a shuffleboard tournament and dinner at the largest shuffleboard club in the USA. The club has long been a symbol of the city of St. Petersburg. 87 years old and the club is making a comeback. The Friday Night shuffle is open to the public and the 80 plus courts are usually packed with all ages from the young college kids to the elderly.

This is a terrible photo (hard to get everyone to look at the camera!). But it was the best one of the night. My hubby and I were the runner-ups in the tournament. The club's motto is to Keep St. Pete Shufflin'!
