This sign at the gas station surprised me today; it's on every pump. I would estimate that 75-80% of customers at the gas station walk over to 7-11 while their gas is pumping. Most go in the morning, so they can save time by getting coffee - come on, who wants gas station coffee?! - and during the rest of the day, 7-11 has a much wider selection of drinks, snacks, etc. than the gas station. Unless the 7-11 is really busy, you can get there and back within 1-2 minutes after your pump shuts off. What's the big deal about walking over there? Most customers do it; was this sign added in response to the complaints of a few?
